We Went to Ocean City Thanks to Our Cousins!

They were kind enough to invite us to visit and we took them up on their kind offer.  After work we headed to the beach - the drive wasn't bad and the kids got to see lots of deer, cows, horses, donkeys and even wild turkeys! The kids had such a great time!

This was only Trevor's second/Heather's third visit ever to a real beach.  Heather was pretty brave and learned how to body surf.  I was not definitely ready for her to be so far in the water and watched her very nervously nor expecting her to be so brave!  Trevor liked to run out there as well.  They both made me incredibly nervous but they were like Mom its not a big deal!

They were catching sand crabs over and over again.  Madeline was quite happy to have them catch them all - she was in charge of dumping sand on top of the crabs in the buckets.  After they went to the beach twice, they got to swim in the pool.  Trevor announced it was his best day ever.

Our Boy is a Graduate!

He's off to first grade!

It's Waterslide Time!

It's hot and we were home for once so out came the slide.  Eric and I fully expected that it would not be up for this season as its now year four - but its still going strong!  The kids love it.

Heather Rode A Mechanical Bull This Weekend at a Terrible Carnival.

We went to a carnival where they charged you to get in - we quickly learned you paid the fee because it was so terrible that was the only way they could make their money!  Anyways Heather's favorite was the mechanical bull.  Trevor gave it two thumbs down.

Heather's Second Concert of the Week.

Right after the 4th grade performed the power went out and the 6th graders had to perform with no background music.  They did a pretty good job!  Heather is located under the E in the middle row here working her recorder and singing.  She did such a great job!

The Rain Turned Our Yard Into A River.

I let them go outside to "explore" in their pjs real quick after the rain stopped.  I told them not to splash - Trevor had to be forced inside because he didn't understand DO NOT SPLASH.

A Visit to Chuck E Cheese

Yet more rain and a free pass to Chuck E Cheese and pizza makes Mom a rock star!  They used their tickets to get mustaches and took these funny photos themselves.
