Heather's Party was a bit chilly but a success!

Heather's cake - proud to say I made it myself and I pulled it off as well!

My two shy boys had a great time together!

Gotta find time for cornhole!

Trevor getting ready before the other kids showed up.

After all day in the obstacle course - lots of leave in conditioner got put in that hair the next day!

When Heather's hair was combed and nice looking - consider this the before shot....

Wind picked up for candle blowing time.

Trevor took advantage of the bucket of juice packs put out for the kids.

Kids loved the pinata. Pull strings only - no bats EVER!

Facepainting was a hit.

The theme was "western" because Heather loves Texas and plans to move there and buy a ranch/horse farm. She's been kind enough to allow her brother to operate a piranua farm on her land in the pond. Glad they've planned out their futures already!

The obstacle course was a hit and luckily the wind stayed down enough that we could tolerate the weather. It really turned out to be a nice day. Everyone had fun, there were minimal injuries and the alcohol flowed freely to warm everyone up!

Playing with Bubbles in the Backyard and Enjoying the Spring Weather!

The Petting Zoo has Reopened!

They've done a bunch of remodeling and Heather and Trevor were so excited to see the changes and new things. Didn't get a lot of photos, but here's one of them in their petting zoo uniforms.

Still have the Fish Obsession....

See Trevor's new hat as proof - he took it to show and tell today. Notice Heather's look of disgust which I find quite comical. They didn't have any horse hats.....

We Have Emerged from the Winter Caccoon....

First bout of spring weather and guilt of long work hours = super mommy!!!! We spent Saturday morning at the fancy playground, Clemyjontri Park in McLean. We spent hours in the maze finding each other. After that we went to Stride Rite and hit the buy one, get one 50% off sale madness. Then it was off to play in the front yard for some more enjoyment of the warm weather. Sunday was spent at the pet store looking at the critters until it warmed up enough to reseed the backyard mud pit - here's hoping I have a green thumb!

March is hell at work

The blog has been suspiciously silent because I'm up to my eyeballs in visiting constituents - will update when I can. We've been to the video arcade, indoor playground and Heather got a wii fir her birthday. Her and Trevor are getting quite good!
