On the Way Out of Town They Begged Me to Putt-Putt.

Trevor and Heather said there are "certainly a lot of good attractions in this place" which was pretty cute.  Trevor also was glad he got a "break" from Dad - he grumps at me all the time which I laughed at - sorry Eric but it was funny.  We stopped for a quick round on our way out of town, then grabbed some crabs and taffy at Sunsations and off we went!

She begged me - Mom take my picture! Then she pulled this pose.

In fact she was alllllll about posing today.....

We Went to the Boardwalk for Food, Treats and Fun!

Trevor showed Madeline his favorite carnival game of all time - FISHING.  I think we started a bad habit and I think she's as addicted now as Trevor.  Trevor and Madeline also immensely enjoyed the shark slide.  Heather and Madeline's favorite was the bumper cars.  We had pizza and ice cream too to cap off our busy day.  What a great time we had!

We Went on a Pirate Ship During Our Beach Trip

Maryann found this gem.  It was really perfect for the kids.  Not too scary and they enjoyed it immensely.  Heather was really into being a pirate - she even packed her own pirate scull rag.  You get to dress up and get face paint (Trevor passed) and then you get on the boat.  After you sign your pirate name onto the flag (Heather = Harpoon Heather, Trevor = Tremblin' Trevor, Madeline = Mad Dog Madeline) you hoisted the flag with a "heave ho" and then you had to search for the map, scare away sea monsters and fight Stinky Pete.  Once you found the treasure you then searched for "Pirate Grog" which turned out to taste interestingly just like lemonade.  On the way back you try and squirt the bar patrons.  The kids really enjoyed it!

Checking out the treasure map.

Pirate exercises to get ready for the seas.

X marks the spot.

Hoisting up the treasure.

They told them to duck and hide to sneak up on the bar - Heather took it very seriously!
