Grandpa had a flat basketball at his house. I offered to bring it home and fill it up with air since we had the ball attachments. I brought it home and filled it up with air and gave it a few good bounces. Heather immediately asked if she could take it to play. I told her to go ahead. She went outside and gave the ball one bounce to which it promptly bounced up and knocked her lip into her teeth and gave her a bloody lip. Eric and I tried to withhold our laughter and I promptly got her an ice pack. That was the end of bouncing the ball for the day. I then realized I didn't need to feel guilty about not signing them up for sports anymore.
