Today At School Is Wacky Hat Day!

We Spent A Rainy Weekend Indoors.

The kids were bickering like banshees so I came up with a way to keep them together.  Eric wanted his living room back......

Snow Hit Falls Church And The Kiddos Went Sledding With Daddy.

While I was at work in DC, there was nothing but rain but we got enough for fun by the house!  Eric took them to his old elementary school.  They were so excited!

Heather and Trevor Were Invited to a Moonbounce Birthday Party.

They really are turning into little hams!

After Flu Came Croup For Heather.

We paid a visit to the Emergency Room when I came home and found Heather barking like a seal.  They dubbed it croup and I learned that cold air "shocks" it and makes it calm down - THATS why she didn't cough at all when I made it to the ER until an hour later - I was ready to strangle her :)

They gave her some steroids and told us to keep an eye on her.  She is finally back in the saddle and good to go!

Flu Hit the House of Chaos!

Heather missed three weeks of school, Trevor missed two and I missed a week of work.  For some reason, Eric the immune-suppressed one didn't catch a thing!

Here Are Some Random Moments at the House of Chaos

Clowning Around And Having A Great Time.

Uncle Mike game them a Caps gnome.  They thought it was hilarious.  Its of Nicholas Backstrom.  Heather promptly starting calling it Nicholas as she can read the box.  Trevor however deemed him Peter.  A fight ensued for days.  Nicholas vs Peter.  Finally I called a truce and explained that each of them could call the gnome whatever they wanted and it was not that big of a deal.  Trevor promptly changed the gnomes name to Gnomeo.  I was very close to screaming at him then......

Heather Also is Coming Along Quite Well in Swimming.

This was the last Saturday until the fall again for swim as we like to be outside during the warm weekends of spring and summer.  Heather passed into Level 6 and Trevor passed into Level 4.  Heather has become quite the swimmer!

Trevor Lost His First Tooth!

Only a face a mother could love. :)

Swim Has Been Every Saturday - Trevors Doing Great!

We Got A Small Amount of Snow in December.

Eric and Heather decided there wasn't enough to merit their time so Trevor and Mama went out and proved them wrong.  We had a snowball fight and built a tiny snowman.  Then Trevor stole his head as a snowball to throw at Mama.

Trevor Went to a Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party

Trevor LOVED this game as it had fish of course.  Plus he got tons of tickets from it.  He was quite put out when it finally jammed and made sure to let every Chuck E Cheese staffer know that the game had to be fixed right away!

Trevor with his kindergarten friends - they all shared this game.  It was pretty cute to see the teamwork, although the game was pretty violent for Chuck E Cheese!

Trevor loved the giant fruit ninja game!

Trevor was invited to his classmate Anthony's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.  I would have sneaked Heather there, but she had swim class.  Trevor bragged so much about it that I had to bring them both back the next day.  They had a great time!

Christmas Time at the House of Chaos!

Santa came, Santa saw, Santa conquered!  There were fishing poles, fish remote control cars, littlest pet shop items, new game boys, games and skylanders.  The kids were ecstatic.
