Victory is in the Air - Time to Head Home!

Quick photo outside on way to airport with the victory parade to elections central!

I'm in Seattle as I write this - we went to a staff party and then our victory rally - the energy was incredible. Every volunteer hugged me. I've become quite popular in the state! I will see them in another six years! BOO YAH JOE.

Closing Tuesday with the Last Sign Wave for the Next Six Years.

Tuesday Afternoon - LET'S WAVE.

Sign waving during the lunch hour - the energy was off the hook, the beats were dropping from the boom box. People were waving and smiling and we were getting horn honk after horn honk. It was pretty much a victory wave and at this point I know its done and we won people. Was simply awesome.

Tuesday Morning - Election Day!

We woke up after an hour or two of sleep from Operation Overpass to find - egads - its SNOWING and there's like 3-4 inches. Kristen was not pleased. Kristen went to sign wave anyways. Glitter signs and snow don't mix with shoes people. We were soaked to the skin.

Monday Night We Did a bit of decorating....

So several of us decided to take it upon ourselves to work out a way to get some free advertising. We were out of signs due to demand so we got creative - with eight overpasses....Joe's peeps weren't crazy about our Lisa sandwich signs....I believe the term they threw at us was chicken shit.....I'm still giggling.

I'm a Sign Waving Machine at this Point.

We started Monday at 6 am with a surprise visit from Lisa and the family to our corner.....gotta admit I think we surprised Lisa herself with our rap music and the banana suit! :)
