Every year the zoo has Congressional Day. One of the few perks to mommy's job. They close down a portion of the zoo and provide burgers, mini hot dogs, mac and cheese, dumplings, cotton candy, italian ice, cookies, brownies, lemonade, tea and booze. The kids love it. They also get free carousel rides. Its one of their favorite events.
