The kiddos were invited to Patricks house again. They always have a great time and they are very helpful with the little ones helping them find eggs and keeping them in their baskets. After Patricks, we went to the egg hunt at the petting zoo - it was so packed. We've never seen anything like it! The next day they woke up to hunt eggs in their pjs in the front yard.

With Spring Comes Petting Zoo Visits
The zoo has been undergoing renovations. The kids enjoy visiting and seeing what the new areas are. They had a great time feeding the baby pigs bottles and the budgie house is always a hit.
Trevor Learned How to Ride His Bike
Its still a work in progress but the training wheels are off! Trevor just walked up and said Mom take those off. I was surprised, but did his bidding. Now I have to remind him to keep his feet on the pedals and use those brakes!
We Worked Together During Spring Break.
The kids had a blast. They built their own offices in the Senator's office, made Easy Bake oven goodies for the staff, ate lunches in the conference room and worked on the computers.
It Snowed During Spring Break!
It was the first day of my recess and the kids spring break. We had plans to go to work and get stuff done but woke up to snow! So I called into work and we went sledding instead. The kids were the only ones out on this hill and saw a fox as well. We all piled on the sled together a couple of times. Going back up and down the hill was quite the workout! Eventually Trevor just gave up and tried to roll down the hill.
Heather Turned 10!
We had a really small party for Heather since Eric just started work and I've been at work around the clock. The Chuck E Cheese was filled with flu-ridden kids and was very filthy unfortunately. I had to file several complaints. Heather, however, was quite pleased and didn't notice any issues so all and all it was a success. She picked the most ridiculous items for her goodie bags - mustaches, wacky glasses, masks....they were very pleased with the results as you will see from the car ride!
Trevor's on the side wearing his mask - he's such a silly boy!
We had a pinata filled with tickets. Was a big hit amongst the kiddos!
Heather loved the ticket blaster machine.
Trevor's First Field Trip
Trevor's class had their first field trip and I got to be field trip Mom. We went to the Children's Museum at the National Harbor. The place was OK. The staff were not very attentive and a lot of the stuff at the museum was for smaller kids so I suspect it was the last time the kindergarten class goes there, but it was fun to see Trevor interacting with his peers and being with the kids. I took a few photos but it was too hard to keep track of all the kids as they all tended to take off on their own. Trevor didn't want to get dressed in the firefighter gear like his other friends. On the way back I got to tell one of my famous weird tales and captivated the entire bus. The teachers asked if I could come back some time and do a story for all the kindergartners. Trevor was very proud.
