Saturday Afternoon Was Sprinkler Time.

Saturday Morning was Huntley Meadows Again.

We saw green herons, great blue herons, sandpipers, red wing blackbirds, two different kinds of skinks (photos above), swifts, swallows, butterflies, egrets, muskrats, crayfish, caterpillars, frogs, various turtles, deer and beavers.

During the Rain we Made Dreamcatchers.

Trevor had to be banned from the glue after using half a bottle on one star.

Tried a new Putt-Putt - Perils of the Lost Jungle.

Heather loved it and is already begging to go back. Trevor was terrified the entire time and refused to golf. I don't recommend it for little ones. There was another little boy there having an equally difficult time making it through. There are squirting "poisonous" frogs, things trying to break out of boxes, an alligator that growls and squirts and more. It was pretty cool when the tomb door closed and we had to hit a button to open the door, but Trevor just was NOT tolerating any of it.

4th of July was Waterslide, Slurpees (thank you Mr. Muhammad) and Fireworks!

Hit the Reston Zoo and Tried Out the New Swan Boats.

We also got on the wagon ride - Trevor really interacted with the animals this time. I'm happy to see he's coming along with his therapy and he's getting braver and braver on outings. We finished out the day with some ice cream.

Tried the new Splashground this weekend - Our Special Harbor.

This was a hit. Trevor was terrified in the beginning but he warmed up on the puddle section and quickly became a pro. Heather of course played with all the boys there.
