Hiking through the woods at Hidden Pond

They thought it was hilarious to swap hats and have me take their picture.

Racoon tracks in the mud!

Trevor's checking out the fungi on the tree - he was fascinated.

Showing Trevor the butterflies on the butterfly bench.

If Heather's teeth don't grow in soon this will be her home.

Today there was no humidity so we went exploring through the woods. They had a wonderful time. They found butterflies, raccoon tracks, snapping turtles, painted turtles, lizards and fish. They also got to play on the playground at the nature center while we waited for it to open up - this is at Hidden Pond where Dad used to take us to identify the various snacks and turtles he found in the backyard. They fed the turtles hamburger buns and everytime a giant head popped up you could hear Heather throughout the entire park with her squeals!
