Play Date at the House of Chaos.

The weather has been so lousy during spring break - until Thursday.  Every parent called at the same time and unloaded all the kiddos at our house - I mean that was the plan when I got all this stuff in the backyard so I can't really complain, but when I got up to 7 kids I was starting to get a bit panicked.....

Spring Break!

We went to visit the "big zoo" in DC and had a great time!  We even squeezed in a secret viewing of the baby panda (forgot to take photos of that).

After Fishing We Hit the Petting Zoo with Our Cousin Madeline.

Brr was it cold!  The kiddos didn't care though and loved running around and saying hello and seeing all the new sights at the zoo.

Its Spring - Lets Fish!

Spring is here - its been cold and miserable.  Trevor, however, was insistent the fish are biting and could not be swayed.  I put it off long enough and out we headed on a brisk morning with about 40 MPH winds. Needless to say we didn't catch anything but Trevor was casting and throwing and casting and throwing and switching out and testing out every single lure in his tackle boxes.  It didn't matter if it wasn't for trout (which was what we were fishing for).
