Corn Toss for ALS.
The kids and I joined for an important cause - to help fight ALS and secure more funding. It was boiling hot but we headed to Washington DC and joined the boss and had a blast. Their team name was BabyCorn. They played adults and did a respectable representation. I teamed up with Mike and we were the Dynamite Daimlers. We placed fourth.
Night Hike at Huntley Meadows.
The kids were exited to use their headlamps. We found a baby muskrat, some green tree frogs, some herons, and watched some bug folks who were doing a moth study. They were kind enough to take time away from their research and show the kids some of their finds - some of the moths were pretty cool. A wolf spider came scurrying out due to all of the activity - I was pretty sketched out but Heather loved it!
What a Busy Time It's Been!
Trevor has been in summer school, work has been running long and we've crammed in as many activities as possible. Some events I had time to snap a few pics and some I didn't. We've been swimming at friends and family pools, on multiple hikes, played in the water slide, visited the petting zoo, putt putted and more!
