Tonight was pork shoulder roast on rotisserie, quattro for magi, scalloped potatoes, pickled beets, french bread, salad and apple pie. The words spreading about shan-gri-la. We were maxed out a eight people tonight.

An eggplant dish with pine nuts (it was really good) and lamb, a fresh salad, pita bread and homemade apple pie.

Rally in the Valley

Yesterday I staffed Lisa and we visited the Mat-Su Valley and sign waved. We also visited the senior home, a Target (OMG Lisa Murkowski was buying lightbulbs we overheard a few folks say), a hockey game and a very very sketchy Alaska bar. Everyone was generally very nice and supportive!

I'm starting a new part of my blog - its called what does Jamie feed us. She's an incredible cook. We have dubbed this place shang-ri-la. Yesterday was lebanese food and cherry pie.

Today was rally day!

We had a big rally today with Dems. About 300 people showed up! It was a great time. Here's a sample pic - there's one somewhere with me and Lisa but I have to figure out who took it. There has also been a Washington Post reporter following us and taking photos - if I make it in the Post, I apologize now for what I looked like Mom.......a hot mess. Love yas!
