Trevor Got To Bring Home the Class Hamster Snookums
He was in charge of taking care of it over the weekend - there was many a battle over who got to hold Snookums and Trevor would sometimes not grant Heather "permission" to hold her because "its MY class pet Sissy!"
Also This weekend Prior to Incident...
We went to Farm Day in Falls Church - there was a petting zoo, pumpkin painting, a horse drawn hay ride - it was a bit ghetto and packed but Heather and Trevor were satisfied.
Times are Tough at Circle Time - Watch Your Back (or your face?!)!
So Trevor was in class during circle time and got accidentally poked in the eye by a classmate. The teacher assures me it was an accident and Trevor backed up this version. After the school called and asked us to pick him up, we went to the Emergency Room. His cornea was scratched. He was in such agony after I brought him home that I had to rush him to the pediatrician. They gave him an eye patch and tylenol with codeine and he started doing a lot better. The next day we went to the specialist who assures me that his eye is already healing and that he will be fine. He is finally back at school today and seems to be in great spirits. He is still a bit light sensitive but was excited to be the only one allowed to wear a hat at school (they are banned).

Dogs Earning his Keep
He's unrooted a mouse infestation next door and has decided he will take care of every one.
For some reason he was here saying cheese and I thought it was pretty funny so I took his photo.
Played at the House of Chaos with our Cousin Madelyne
After playing on our playground and jumping around the trampoline she was worn out! Heather and Trevor were playing soccer boppers and finally got grounded by Eric when Trevor had enough and took Heather down and they started wrestling each other.
Took the Kids to the Falls Church Festival
The caterpillar was a bit disturbing - you came out of its butt after you entered through his stomach. They also broke Heather's heart - she is officially deemed "too big" for pony rides now. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go fight the good fight for her because I was trying to rescue Trevor from the obstacle course - he couldn't get up the last bit and was trapped.
